In Love
In love. It's a funny expression. How can you be "in love"? What's to be in? Love isn't an object that you can go in; it's not a box or anything. So how can you be in love? You can feel love and you can be happy with a relationship but to be IN love is something funny. It's as if you are in the person you love's heart. Seems a bit odd... I want to know exactly what that means though. How that came to be. Who made the expression to be in love and what they had in mind exactly. Were they in a love shack or something? To be in love from what I've understood is to love someone and not feel anything else for a split second or maybe more and love the person with all of your heart. To be in love is a feeling, not an action. So maybe it is just that. An expression and feeling. You cannot get in a box called love. You can not scoop ice cream into love and say you are "in" love... But you can feel a certain special love for someone. A love no one can break or stop. In love. It's still a funny expression.
